Imphal, October 17 2023: National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) Project Monitoring Unit (PMU), Tengnoupal on Monday conducted a mega tree plantation programme along the Imphal-Moreh road (NH-102) under the theme 'Greening (Plantation & Maintenance) of National Highways' with an aim to reduce the adverse impact of air and noise pollution, soil erosion and to provide a clean environment.

As per a release, the programme was attended by Thoubal deputy commissioner A Subhash Singh, SP Sachidanan-da Soibam, DFO Lokendro Singh and PMU DGM Prabal Das along with students of Lilong Higher Secondary School, Lilong Bazar.
