Lions Club of Imphal undertakes tree plantation programme

Imphal, July 22 2023: Lions Club of Imphal undertook a "Tree Plantation '' programme at the water supply compound of Mayang Langjing Tanning under "Environmental Project" .

The programme was held in association with volunteers of Global Agency, Mayang Langjing, said Lions Club of Imphal District 322 D in a statement.

About 80 saplings were planted at the campus and some more saplings with tree guards at Kuthabi Lampak, it said.

The saplings were provided by the Forest Department, it said while adding that "Environment" is one of the 5 focussed service activities of Lions Clubs International.
