Imphal, January 30 2022: A team of the Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal (RCPCI) visited EMA Foundation, a centre for orphan/underprivileged children at New Keithelmanbi today as a part of its monthly project.

Twelve members of the club participated in this monthly project led by its president Rotarian Anil Kumar Jain, said a press release by RCPCI.

Today, RCPCI donated one solar battery, one controller, one LED flood light, five pairs of badminton rackets along with shuttles, toys, books, stationery, caps, socks, towel, personal hygiene items and edible items worth around Rs 40,000 (Rupees forty thousand) only.

Members have also assured to give more assistance to this centre in the near future and Rotarian Anil Kumar Jain and Rotarian Naobi had also spoke about the importance of care of COVID-19 and personal hygiene to the children, added the press release.
