Thoubal, February 06 2022: As part of the water bird census, Bird Conservation Network, Manipur and Divisional Forests Officer, Thoubal on Sunday began counting the number of birds at different wetlands in Thoubal and Kakching districts.

The water bird census was flagged off by Divisional Forest Officer Thoubal, Th Lokendro Singh from Thoubal Range Office.

The joint team which included members of Wildlife Explorers Manipur carried out the waterbird census at Kharung Pat, Ekop Pat and Waithou Pat.
