Ukhrul, January 10 2022: Small Town Committee under the aegis of Ukhrul Autonomous District Council (UADC) on Monday organised a one day consultation meeting on "Sanitation cum covid-19 awareness" at ADC office complex Phungreitang, Ukhrul.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Yaronsho Ngalung, caretaker chairman of Ukhrul ADC expressed that the consultation meeting was organised to seek the opinion of the public and suggest policy to regulate and streamline environment friendly waste disposal in Ukhrul Headquarters.

Dr Ngalung also appealed to the public to provide their co-operation in implementing the new system in Ukhrul.

CEO, Ukhrul David Kashung elaborated on the activities carried out by STC to beautify, sanitize and manage traffic for the safety of the public.

The programme was attended by Ukhrul town locality chairmen, secretaries and staff.
