Imphal, November 01 2021: One-day free hands-on training programme on cultivation of mushroom technology under the theme "A Potential Entrepreneurship for Youth" was jointly organised by e-Loumee (FARMS) and Rama Foundation, Nagamapal RIMS Road>in Singjamei on Sunday.
A press release issued by RAMAF PRO Nonganba S informed that more than 20 people from six different districts participated in the training programme, which was inaugurated by Soram Rajendra Kumar as chief, Sanathoi Thoudam as functional president and FARMS training manager Teresa Chingsubam as the guest of honour.
Soram Rajendra also delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, diseases, poisonous mushrooms, marketing and financial assistance, etc.
As a part of the training programme, an awareness and health check-up in relation with Covid-19 as well as farm visit to Ningombam Baljit Singh at Singjamei Mayai Leikai were conducted.
Spawns and certificated were also distributed to the trainees.
