Khurai AC still facing water shortage: Subash

Imphal, October 29 2021: Intending candidate in Khurai AC H Subash has stated that 37 polling stations out of the 43 in Khurai AC are facing shortage of potable water till date.

He made the statement during the inaugural function of the 7-a-side Football Tournament organised by Khabeisoi Youth Library and Sporting Association (KYLSA) at Sabal Leikai, Khabeisoi playground on Friday.

Recalling a statement made by Chief Minister*! Biren urging the people not to reelect representatives who failed to serve the interests of their respective constituencies; Subash said that time has come to make the statement true.

He continued that the Muslim community in Khurai AC has been deprived of their entitled benefits, while many areas in the constituency are lacking in many aspects.

In addition to lacking proper irrigation system, the government schools, roads and drainage system in Khurai are in poor conditions, Subhash said, while assuring of mending all the aforementioned and sincerely work for the development of the constituency if he is elected in the upcoming polls.
