Tree saplings planted in Inganglok

Thoubal, August 21 2021: Manipur Forest Department, Yairipok Beat Officer M Biren, Heirok Beat Officer L Boby and Pallel Beat Officer Md Sallaodin in association with Inganglok Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Youth Club carried out a tree plantation drive in Inganglok area of Thoubal district today.

Speaking on the occasion, L Boby stated that the tree saplings were planted as a part of the tree plantation campaign organised by the three Beat Office in collaboration with the local club to maintain the ecological balance and lessened the effects of global warming.

The plantation drive was participated by Inganglok Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Youth Club president, Khundongbam Hemanta; Wildlife and Biodiversity Conservation Committee (WBCC) Manipur president, Rabi Takhellambam; Publicity Secretary, Robi Ningthoujam; Wildlife Warden, W Ramchandra and staff of Forest Department.
