Imphal, April 18 2021: Nature Club, Haoreibi conducted a 'Plastic Free Campaign' in and around Haoreibi today.

Around 50 youths, who are mostly school students, volunteered and collected scattered plastics and other non-biodegradable wastes from roadside and public places, said a statement issued by Nature Club.

The volunteers wore t-shirt carrying message 'Sanghanlasi, Nalhanlasi Lamdamse' (lets make the land green and clean), managed to collect huge quantity of plastics and other non-biodegradable wastes which were disposed off through solid waste management plant located in the village, added the statement.
