Bishnupur, February 19 2021: A one day 'Farmers awareness programme' was organised by the Election Management Committee BJP 29 Kumbi Mandal of Kumbi AC at the residence of BJP Bishnupur District Committee Kishan Morcha vice president, Pukhrambam Ningthemchandra in Wangoo Sabal today.

The programme was attended by Kumbi AC ex-Minister, N Mangi; Wangoo Borayangbi Zilla Parishad member, M Brojen Singh; Kumbi Municipal Council Chairperson, W Priyoranjan and Wangoo Terakhong Gram Panchayat Pradhan, P Baleshwor.

Addressing the programme, Kishan Morcha BJP Manipur Pradesh president, K Ningthemjao urged the farmers to avail the benefits of the various schemes initiated by the Government for the welfare of the farmers.

He continued that it is rather unfortunate that the Opposition parties are misinforming the farmers against the recent 'Farm Bills' passed by the Parliament of India.

Ningthemjao further mentioned the various agricultural marketing reforms, modern marketing methods, interface with the experts of commodities specialist and marketing personnel, warehousing, scientific storage of agricultural commodities, etc needed to improve the harvest of the farmers.

Ex-Minister, N Mangi also assured the gathering to provide all possible support and assistance to the farmers.
