Imphal, October 10 2020: Central Forest Division and Wildlife Exploration Manipur jointly observed World Migratory Bird Day at Lamphelpat.

A loudspeaker campaign was also carried out to protect birds which usually migrated to the State during the winter season.

A similar observance was also held at Chiulon Village in Tamenglong.

Divisional Forest Officer Tamenglong and Rainforest Club organised the programme.
