Imphal, September 18 2022: The Society for Environment and Educational Development (SEED) and Shakti, Manipur organised a webinar on Friday to observe the World Ozone Day, which commemorates the day of signing of the Montreal Protocol on Ozone depleting substances.
The webinar was conducted with Department of Environmental Science, NEHU Professor Om Prakash Singh as chief guest cum resource person while, SEED and Shakti, Manipur chairperson professor Asha Gupta presided over the programme.
Professor Om Prakash Singh spoke on the topic "Healing of Ozone Layer and The Montreal Protocol and Beyond" as a part of the observance, which had healthy participation of delegates, lecturers and students from different universities and colleges.
