Bishnupur, March 26 2022: EO Nambol Municipal Council under the supervision of District Administration Bishnupur on Saturday organised a cleanliness drive at India Peace Memorial in Maibam.
Staff of Nambol Municipality and other volunteers carried out the drive in and around the historical site and spread awareness to the public.
The participants also appealed to the public to extend their cooperation and support in preserving the memorial which was built on the site of the "Battle of Red Hill" .
Moreover, the Environment Protection Committee Kumbi under the supervision of Kumbi AC MLA S Premchandra also organised a cleanliness drive on Friday to clean up 7 Km of Kumbi Khuga river starting from Kumbi Uyunghoubi Mini Dam.
