Kangpokpi, December 15 2021: As part of the Civic Action Programme, 86 Bn CRPF under the aegis of MS Shekhawat, IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF distributed water storage tanks and solar lamps to the villagers of Joujangtek in Kangpokpi district on Wednesday.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Mohd Yusuf, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF, said a release issued by 86 Bn CRPF.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohd Yusuf stated that the assistance was provided with the aim to connect with the marginalized section of the society and spread the message that security forces deployed in the region are dedicated not only for security and safety of the locals but to fill the gap of inadequacy between the public and Government agencies.

K Haopu, second-in-command of 86 Bn CRPF also attended the event.
The villagers expressed their appreciation to the battalion for its initiative and urged the CRPF to carry out similar programmes in the future.
