Senapati, December 05 2021: Minister of-PHE, Printing and Stationery L Dikho inaugurated a Solid Waste Management Plant' at Karong, Senapati district on Saturday.
The plant consists of Waste Plastic Pvrolvsis machine with a capacity of 250 kg/batch, Biomass Briquetting machine With 100 kg/batch capacity and Organic Composting machine 10 tonne/batch capacity.
The plant was constructed under the sponsorship of Communication and Capacity Development Unit (CCDU), PHED.
With the commissioning" of the plant, all solid wastes from households of Senapati district will go for recycling.
Minister L Dikho handed over the newly inaugurated plant to ADC Senapati, Karong Senapati Town Committee (KSTC) president A John in the presence pf CCDU, PHED officials and KSTC members.
