Kakching, November 04 2021: Disaster Management Institute, which is under Department of Relief and Disaster Management, Manipur, organised a Panchayat Level Training on Disaster Management programme at Keirak Mayai Leikai Panthoibi Lampak community hall, Keirak Gram Panchayat under Kakching CD Block on Wednesday.
The programme was attended by Keirak GP pradhan Elangbam (o) Shanti Leima as chief guest and Relief and Disaster Management Department Manipur training officer Nomita Tongbram as president.
As part of the programme, a demonstration cum training was conducted by experts on measures to be taken up for protecting lives and properties during outbreak of fire or other natural disasters.
