Training on mushroom cultivation concludes

Imphal, October 06 2021: A two-day training programme on mushroom cultivation and value addition organised by Vidya Bharti Shiksha Vikash Samiti Manipur concluded at the conference hall of Bal Vidya Mandir, Palace Compound here on Wednesday.

The training programme organised under the joint aegis of Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad and Directorate of Research, CAU Imphal was participated by 56 farmers from different districts.

Deputy director of research and nodal officer of ICAR, CAU Imphal Dr Th Robindro imparted training on Different Species of Mushroom and Their Importance', and assistant professor (COFT) Dr H Dayanidhi on Post Harvest and Value Addition of Mushroom' while mushroom farmer L Ingobi shared theory and practical training on Mushroom Cultivation and Its Precautionary Process.

Vidya Bharti Shiksha Samiti Manipur president Y Khogen, secretary Dr M Chourajit and Dr Th Robindro attended the closing ceremony as presidium members.

Certificates were also distributed to the participating farmers.
