Tbl/Tnp, September 29 2021: In line with the observance of 125th birth anniversary of 'Lamyanba Hijam Irabot', IYAK Kakching District Committee in association with Wabagai Gram Panchayat and RO Forest Department Kakching jointly organised a tree plantation drive at Wabagai Thingel Leikai (Turel Mamei) in Kakching district on Wednesday.
The tree plantation was conducted as a part of the 'Green Kangleipak' campaign carried out by Indigenous Youths' Association of Kangleipak (IYAK) .

In a release, A Bapin Khuman, president IYAK Kakching District Committee stated that the committee has been carrying out tree plantation drives over the years in collaboration with many like minded people to make Manipur a green State (Ashangba Kangleipak) .
Similarly, as part of the birth anniversary celebration of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot, AMSU Tengnoupal District Committee in association with MCM, ACODOM, Nupi Khunai Chaokhat Lamjing Lup, Kha Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup and local clubs of Moreh carried out a cleanliness drive in Moreh.
