Ukhrul, September 24 2021: Krishi Viyan Kendra (KVK), Ukhrul District, Indian Council for Agricultural Research, Manipur Centre launched a 7 days training programme on 'Scientific Bee-Keeping' under National Bee-Keeping & Honey Mission at the Training Hall of KVK Ukhrul on Friday.
The training programme sponsored by National Bee Board, Government of India would be conducted till September 30, said a statement of KVK Ukhrul.
It was attended by 30 farmers/bee-keeper from five different villages of the District.

During the 7 days training programme, different spoke persons including Dr Arati Ningombam, Scientist Entomology and Dr Romila Akoijam, Scientist Entomology of ICAR, Manipur Centre; Dr N Johnson Singh, Subject Matter Specialist, KVK CCpur; N Ajitkumar Singh, Subject Matter Specialist, Plant Protection KVK Ukhrul and Irungbam Premjoy Singh, DDM Ukhrul, NABARD will be delivering lectures on various aspects.
