Tengnoupal/Thoubal, September 15 2021: In line with the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of India's independence, DC Tengnoupal, Naorem Praveen Singh (IAS) launched the 'Swachhata Hi Seva, 2021' campaign on September 15 DC office, Tengnoupal.
The 'Swachhata Hi Seva, 2021' movement will include cleaning of public places, plastic waste collection, door-to-door waste collection, and construction of compost & soak pits.
The event was organised by PHED Tengnoupal, which was represented by Th Sarat Singh, Executive Engineer and other officials.
'Center for Women and Girls', which is the implementing support agency under Jal Jeevan Mission for Tengnoupal district also took part in the event.

'Swachhata Hi Seva, 2021' campaign begins
Similarly, the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign organised by PHED Thoubal was launched for Thoubal district at its office premises today.
Speaking on the occasion, Division Executive Engineer, N Livingstone stated that the campaign would include cleaning of public places, Panchayat Ghars, community halls, mass social service camp, etc and would be continued till October 2 .
He also mentioned that as a part of the campaign training would also be provided to the Pradhans, ward members, local leaders, Women organisations and members of Village Water Sanitation Committee.
