Kakching, September 13 2021: In connection with 4th Rashtriya Poshan Maah, saplings of Moringa plant, which is highly beneficial to human health, were planted in three Gram Panchayats under Langmeidong CD Block, Kakching on Monday.
Under the initiative of Langmeidong CD block development officer Sh Gunamani; Mayeng Lamjao GP pradhan Unkhinbam Narjit Luwang, Langmeidong GP pradhan Yumnam Bedapati Devi and Hiyanglam GP pradhan Elangbam Shantibala led the plantation of Moringa saplings in their respective GPs.
The plantation programme was attended by staffers of Langmeidong BDO.
Highlighting the benefits of Moringa plant to human health, Sh Gunamani urged the people to plant it extensively.
