Kakching, September 05 2021: In line with the celebration of Teacher's Day and as part of the Sunday Eco Club Activities, a tree plantation drive was conducted at Angaan Ching Eco Park, Heritage Complex on Sunday.
As part of the event, GAMMA Asian MMA Championship-2021, Gold Medalist Dinesh Naorem of Kakching Sumang Leikai, Makhalou was also felicitated.
The plantation drive was organised by Alliance for Development Alternatives-Manipur (ADAM), Kakching in association with the Management Committee, Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching, Kakching Trekkers and Team HELMET.
It was participated by Ksh Manihar, Additional SP (Ops), Kakching; personnel of District Police Kakching, Commando Unit and members of Friendship Sporting Club, Kakching Phousupat Leikai.
ADAM secretary, Surjit Kshetrimayum also presented 'Yes SHE' T-Shirts to Dinesh Naorem, Ksh.
Manihar and Friendship Sporting Club president, P Inaosana.
Later, in a bid to encourage and assist the enthusiast of Martial Arts, Surjit Kshetimayum also assured to build a 'MMA Practicing Centre' at Angaan Ching Eco Park Kakching.
