Imphal, April 22 2021: Alliance for Development Alternatives Manipur (ADAM), Kakching organised Earth Day celebration programmes at Angaan Ching Eco Park Kakching and at the residence of Professor Rajmuhon, Vice Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University in Canchipur today.
The programme at Canchipur was attended by Ng Uttam, director of Social Welfare, Govt of Manipur, Dr T Brajakumar, joint director of Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Professor N Mohilal of Manipur University, Sh Bhubol, secretary of BEENET Manipur, M David, Assistant professor NIT Manipur and Surjit Kshetrimayum, secretary of ADAM among others.

Earth Day celebrated

To support the initiative of ADAM's environment awareness programme, a Yes T-shirt was launched by Prof N Rajmuhon as a part of the programme.
Meanwhile at a similar event held at Angaan Ching Eco Park Kakching today morning, members of Honorary Caretaker Angaan Ching Eco Park Kakching and management committee including N Rajendro, Ksh Ranjit and Y Roshan along with the volunteers of Sunday Eco Club planted saplings.
Further a discussion on the theme of this year's Earth Day 'Restore Our Earth' was also conducted and resolved to dedicate two hours in a week to engage in activities to protect and save the environment as a part of Yes SHE Campaign.
