Tengnoupal, November 30 2020: Tengnoupal Forest Division and Nature Learning Centre, Forest Department Manipur jointly organised a one day awareness programme on "Important roles of village authority on conservation of forest" at DC Office complex in Tengnoupal district, today.
The programme held under the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) was attended by Tengnoupal AC MLA D Korungthang, Divisional Forest Officer of Tengnoupal Forest Division Dr Leishangthem Jeeceelee, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Dr Lokho Puni (IFS), Deputy Commissioner Tengnoupal Mayanglambam Rajkumar (IAS), Deputy Conservator of Forest Research-Silviculture and Training Waikhom Romabai and Sub Divisional Officer Tengnoupal Reikimdaar Khaling as presidium members.
