Five days training course on ‘Climate Change Adaptation for National Resource Management’

 A five days training course on ‘Climate Change Adaptation for National Resource Management’ is being organized by Forest Department Manipur from 13th November to 17th November 2017. The inauguration Programme was organized at Main Conference Hall, Forest Headquarters, Sanjenthong, Imphal Shri Shambhu Singh, IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary (Forest & Environment) Government of Manipur and Shri Kereilhouvi Angami, IFS. Graced the inaugural function as Chief Guest and Functional President respectively. Dr. Lokho Puni, IFS APCCF (WPR & T) Manipur, Dr. Bhaskar Sinha, Professor, IIFM Bhopal and Kh. Shyam Singh, IFS Conservator of Forests (WPR &T), Manipur were other eminent dignitaries. Dr. L. Bijen Meitei Co-ordinator, ENVIS Hub also took part in the inauguration function. Dr. M. Muni Singh Information Officer, ENVIS Hub, Manipur is also taking part in the training programme as trainee. ENVIS Hub Coordinator will give resource person speech on 16th November on the topic “Implementation of Adaptation Strategies in Rural Development and Allied Sector: A case study from Manipur”   in the same training programme.
